I know nothing. Just like he knew NOTHING about the payments of hush money to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall. Michael Cohen knew.

LYING, deflecting, projecting is all Trump knows how to do.

He merely "suggests" a course of action. His sycophants know what he means; they don't have to be told. Barr might be an exception, though. He's smart enough to have asked for written authorization from his nominal superior. When he was running the FBI, Hoover did that. A new president (and he saw several) would come to him and ask him to do things that both Hoover and the president knew he was doing already, things that were totally illegal. Hoover would give a good hearing to the new president and purr, "Well of course I'll spy on citizens and provide you with the results of my illegal warrantless surveillance. Here (sliding a piece of paper across the desk), sign this authorization that I just happen to have with me, and I'll get right on it, Mr. President."

None of the presidents was stupid enough to do that, and Hoover went merrily on his corrupt way for decades. The former guy I would rate as just stupid enough to sign an order for Barr to delay or stop his investigation into Giuliani's activities.

probably the brainchild of Rudy, with his many FBI connections, and with the help of Donald Trump, had placed people in the Justice Dept to block any investigation of Rudy until Biden had his Justice team in place. Which was only a week or two ago.

They are so clever.
