Something smells rotten in the new report on the Rudy Giuliani case

While the federal raid on Rudy Giuliani's home has attracted the national media's attention, there's a thread in the story leading up to the issuance of the search warrant that may be underplayed.

The New York Times story that initially reported the news on Tuesday noted that the investigation into Giuliani has been ongoing for years, growing out of his conduct implicated in the first impeachment of former President Donald Trump. He was instrumental and deeply involved in Trump's 2019 effort to induce Ukraine to announce an investigation into Joe Biden, who they perceived as the president's likely 2020 rival. As part of the effort, Giuliani sought to disparage the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, and eventually, Trump had her removed from office.

This piece of the puzzle, the Times reported Thursday, is key to the current investigation. One central question is whether Giuliani sought to have Yovanovitch removed while illegally working as a lobbyist for foreign interests, according to the report. These allegations aren't particularly new — they've been looming over Giuliani since the impeachment story first broke.

3. Yes, there's long been strong allegation that Giuliani went after Yovanovich

to help Ukraine's corrupt oligarchs, who were allied with Putin. The nations helping Ukraine fight off Russian takeover had to dig out their embedded corruption to do it. It was reportedly Giuliani who talked Trump into firing "the woman."

8. For Rudy this whole vendetta against Biden goes back to 2007, when Joe said of Giuliani during a

presidential debate: "Three things he mentions in a sentence: a noun and a verb and 9/11." Giuliani never forgot that.

Rudy sold Trump the Ukraine/Hunter/Burisma scheme and it blew up in their faces, and got Trump impeached. The worm has turned and now Rudy's in the crosshairs. Couldn't happen to a more deserving scumbag.

The more this was looked into and investigated the worse it looked for Team trDUMP. The first trDUMP impeachment pulled all the pieces together and showed the level of corruption trDUMP was willing to go to get his second term in the White House.

As it became apparent that Team trDUMP was floundering in hot water over this Ukraine corruption issue ---- US Attorney General billy barr stepped in and quietly shutdown any investigatory process to hold Team trDUMP accountable.

The search warrants executed by federal investigators on Wednesday at Mr. Giuliani’s New York City apartment and office sought evidence related to Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine whom Mr. Giuliani pushed to oust in the spring of 2019, as well as communications with any U.S. government officials or employees regarding the former ambassador or her position, the people said.

Former President Donald Trump ordered Ms. Yovanovitch’s removal in the spring of 2019 after an extensive push by Mr. Giuliani, who personally lobbied the president and then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
