This story was kept secret for Decades to protect the heroes.
The 2-3 men they talked to, all closing in on 100, seemed quite fit mentally, it was notable.
Hope I am still all there upstairs nearing a hundred....if I make it that far. Still decades away but time seems to speed up as you age.
