Woman Accidentally Vaccinated With Six Pfizer Doses

A 23-year-old woman in Italy's central Tuscany region was accidentally administered six doses of the Pfizer vaccine on Sunday, but ended up discharged after 24 hours when she did not appear to suffer any severe effects.

The woman, a clinical psychology trainee in the town of Massa, was scheduled to receive her first dose of the vaccine as a health worker, according to the news agency Agenzia Giornalistica Italia (AGI). But instead of being given a single Pfizer dose, she was accidentally injected with an entire vial—which amounts to six doses.

Upon realizing her mistake, the Noa Hospital nurse who had administered the vaccine immediately informed the patient.

The young woman was placed under observation, during which she was treated with paracetamol and fluids. AGI reported she was discharged after 24 hours.

9. From the article it sounds like some people were given 5 doses on purpose as a test.

It seems to me vaccines are tested to the minimum ended for desired effect. Not maximum a body can handle. So a relatively small, compared to body weight, increase shouldn’t be that alarming.

14. Assuming No Adverse Reaction To A Regular Dose

there shouldn't be a reaction to a sextuple dose. The mRNA vaccines are just comprised of water, sugar, salt, fat, and the protein that duplicates the covid virus. The water, sugar, salt, and fat, are absorbed by the body, and the protein is attacked and destroyed by the immune system. It's all out of your system in 48-72 hours.
