(15,325 posts)You'd think having the teenagers home from school for almost 2 years, parents would be more apt to happily comply.
I know a few parents who say, come hell or high water these kids are going back to school!
They've turned into smartass Youtubers & Gamers & it's out of control. "
Thank you, Joe Biden & Dr Fauci!!

(51,609 posts)it may become fairly easy to get young adults and older children. Family doctors should have info for local vaccination sites if they can't give them at a doctors office or through the school.

(21,596 posts)My kiddo is 12 and has asthma. I will be getting him vaccinated this week.
Edit: Im in NE GA. I spoke w/ the Walgreens pharmacist in the store near me. Itll be several days before their online/phone registration system is updated to allow 12 -15 year olds to be registered. CVS also has the Pfizer vaccine. Publix doesnt carry the Pfizer vaccine.

She'll now return to the classroom as a freshman in high school.
It's really kinda sad to think of the massive life-interruption that a generation of kids were forced to adjust to.
This will always be a part of the stories they'll tell as they someday look back on their own generation's 'coming of age'.

(21,596 posts)The school kids went out on spring break in the first week of March 2020 and never went back. Our GA city went on stay at home lock down early in the 3rd week ofMarch 2020 and stayed that way for quite a while. Were super careful. My child stays at home. I work and shop.
Their father and Ive been fully vaccinated since early April.
Oh, the stories well have to tell...
