The two plaintiffs, William Beard and Sandra Dowling, argued that the party should hold a redo vote due to what they saw as the "significant number of irregularities and general chaos" surrounding the original election. The state party was opposed to the idea.

Because they do it themselves all the time, they think the only way anyone wins is by cheating. So of course, their first reaction is someone rigged/stole it against him/her when they lose.

You can pretty much it to all republican outrage toward democrats (pedo ring, corruption, etc). It's because republican do it all the time, so their immediate reaction is everyone else does it too.
