A polling site is set up in a parking lot. A poll worker comes to the car. Don't need to get out of the car.

There is also something called curbside voting, but it must be pre-arranged on an individual basis. An election worker will come out to your car if someone contacts an election worker to come out. Curbside, is not as convenient as drive through and is a bit of a hassle, but for those who can't walk inside, it is a godsend. Almost all people who utilize curbside are handicapped, but it is not a legal requirement.

New law will prohibit parking lot sites...

I believe only Harris County set up parking lot sites...
It sure is a more convenient alternative to curbside. I kinda feel Harris County overdid it and now the GOP wants to get rid of it. I believe it was the first time drive through was used in Texas. It would be great to have the ability to have a drive up site dedicated to disabled people in all counties

The last one on advising felons that they cannot vote, if that is the case under state law, could ultimately be to their advantage. Some felons out of prison but still on parole have not understood this and got themselves another stint in prison for trying to be good citizens. (If it were up to me they could vote like everyone else.)
