Is there polling in WVA that supports Manchin's Pro-filibuster position?

He says he’s representing the views of his state. Is that true, or is he bs-ing? Why don’t reporters ask him to show the data supporting his claim that West Virginians want to keep the filibuster?

WVA was #2 in voting margin for TRUMP. We are lucky a Republican isn't in Manchin's seat. pnwmom Jun 2021 #1

Why do you think a state that voted so heavily for Trump would support ending the filibuster?

The people of West Virginia don't want Biden to get anything done because they believe in the big lie.

A joke about West Virginia is you know the toothbrush was invented in West Virginia because if it was invented anywhere else it would be called the teethbrush.

So hard to believe it’s about Trump. More like a way to “own the libs.”

The voters don't know the first damn thing about the filibuster. They only know that they need economic help. The glow has come off of coal and the voters know that. They want help from anyone and Joe Manchin right now represents the enemy because he won't help the President and others get help to them.

and none from Democratic groups showing WV residents oppose keeping it, which leads me to believe WV residents probably lean in favor of keeping it.

Here: https://thefga.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/West-Virginia-Filibuster-Poll.pdf

Interestingly, while 40% would oppose ending the filibuster to help Biden pass his agenda, 38% support it.

The big takeaway:

. If West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin voted to get rid of the filibuster, would you be more or less likely to vote to reelect him?

More Likely 30%
Less Likely 52%
Unsure 14%

anything that hurts Democrats. Manchin has it made as another Republican he would be insignificant as a Democrat he can "own the libs, It is good politicly to do just what he is doing.

He has been very consistent.

He does a great job representing his constituents for us. We have a senate vote, most of the time, from a red state.

I find the lack of understanding to be mind-boggling.

Some West Virginians were more
than happy with the Covid relief
bill because they were hurting and
they welcomed the assistance.
Inspite of getting 0 votes from Republicans.

Likewise with the Infrastructure bill
it means jobs and an income.

Removing the filibuster to get legislation through will be a thorn in
their side but they will reap the benefits and so far there is no backlash from the first.
