'Kneel Before Trump': George P. Bush Mocked For 'Selling Out His Own Family'

Texas land commissioner George P. Bush was mocked on social media this week for desperately trying to link himself to former President Donald Trump, who has attacked much of Bush’s famous family.

“Like President Trump, I will not sit idly by while our freedoms are under attack,” Bush said in a video announcing his bid for Texas attorney general.

Bush’s primary challenger is fellow Republican Ken Paxton, the current attorney general who is also a loyal Trump supporter, and it seems both are competing for the former president’s endorsement. But Bush is also the son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), who was an early target of Trump’s ire when they were rivals for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.

“If you want to have a future [in the Republican Party], everyone understands you have to suck up ― even if that means running on a platform of ‘Donald Trump was right, my father was a huge loser,’” Chris Hayes said on MSNBC Thursday night.

P strikes me as someone who will go low, like the Rodney Dangerfield one liner "make $14 the hard way."

I can halfway understand why the Ted Cruzes, Marco Rubios and Lindsey Graham's of the world feel the need to debase themselves in obeisance to Trump - they think they need him to survive and thrive politically.

But why in the hell would the scion of one of America's major political families - second only to the Kennedys - believe he needs to kowtow to the likes of Trump. Surely his own family can provide him considerably more political oomph - and exponentially more respectable clout - than Trump could ever muster up.

I can only assume that one or both of two possibilities are at play: 1) Somebody has something on George P. that's being used as leverage to make him kneel before the fake king; and/or 2) he's been disowned by his family from whom he can no longer count on any political (including fundraising) support.

Maybe the PTB thinks George can draw the Mexicans and the people that hate the Mexicans. They gotta believe Abbot is damaged.

The head of the group of ...BAD GUYS is ...ZOD

In the film, Superman defeats the "Bad Guys" and ZOD too....(didn't mean to give away the story....
but Superman always defeats the ..."Bad Guys."
