Is the "47% comment" still a powerful political issue?

Or has its time come and gone?

Some talking heads are talking about how the President is going to bring up Mitt's comment about the "47%" tonight? They seem to think it is the most powerful point the President can make? Will it still be effective and is that the best tool that is in the toolbox?

It really resonated with people until they were allowed to forget about it as the narrative changed to Romney's comeback.

He has to paint the number 47 on Romney's forehead. Sadly, things like this, not real policy initiatives, get voters' attention.
