I'm tired of hearing about "Intelligence Failures" concerning the insurrection

Sure there were some. Some errors can always be found in hindsight with just about everything. Sure there were also some instances of "poor communication." That too is not exactly rare. But discussion about those "failures" doesn't begin to capture the magnitude of what went wrong on 1/6/21 and the weeks leading up to it. Front line first responders say that they were "betrayed", and that I think comes closer to the truth. Someone needs to just come out and say it. There was more going on than mere "intelligence failures." There was direct conspiracy with the insurrectionists by some in government service, and there was overt intelligence sabotage with the direct intent of leaving our Capital vulnerable to the insurrectionists. No other explanation will explain what happened.

Trump loyalists ran the departments that were supposed to protect the Capitol and the deliberately made sure they were undermanned.

is the bank blamed for not preventing the robbery? No, the FBI investigates who committed the robbery and arrests them. Thus far many of the players in the insurrection have been arrested, but the people who planned the insurrection have not been.

Some robberies have a person on the inside who help the robbers. The insurrection had insiders who aided and abetted the insurrectionists, and who may have even helped plan the attack, but most of the reports skirt around who the masterminds were who planned the whole thing.

15. Yes, agreed. I think the "failures" many times involve some kind of

inter-organization ideology disagreements that devolve into competing strategies. Also, with every failure comes an investigation. Then, there are roadblocks to truth because investigations touch “inside assets” that can’t be jeopardized. Sometimes rich and powerful people get exposed and have the power to stop the truth from being known.
