He's doing a news conference right now and that was his opening statement. Was that dig at Trump?

NYT is now digging further, wondering if he was closer to Trump than Biden. "A physical and emotional clone of Trump." Even wondered if Biden's Irish background might be a problem for Johnson in the future.

He's pleading political necessity to reach out to leaders. He's also saying that there are issues that they (Biden and Johnson) need to work on together, i.e. climate change and infrastructure.
