1. I wonder if Vegas has a line on whether he will be on

the opening day roster or not.

3. The team has to eat his contract (8 figures) if he's not on the roster. He very likely plays.

Plus there is the massive PR hit the team and league will take if he is cut.

Teammates have sent supportive tweets & IGs, as well.
And, he has a 3 year, $25 million contract, with $18 million guaranteed.
Plus, he's a starter, meaning he's awfully good.
He'll be on the team.

11. He's a starting Defensive end in the NFL. Built like the new model of a Defensive end.

Long and lanky but big.

His career will not be affected at all. If the raiders cut him other teams would line up to sign him. As long as his performance on the field keeps him a starter he will be fine.

Remember also, NFL players are mainly in their 20’s. They grew up with a totally different view on being gay than this 55 year old in my 20’s.

I was pointing out that Goodell is agreeing with you.
Yeah, we're glad for him, we're glad he's getting support, we're glad the public reaction is positive.
But, I think we'd be glad when a pro athlete says he's gay, and the society shrugs and says "Ok, by me."
We're not there yet, but it would be good if we were.
