(4,170 posts)But not everyone dies from the virus. Not everyone even gets it. I didnt die, nor was I hospitalized. My closest friend, who refused to leave my house when I got sick, didnt get it at all.

(21,606 posts)asymptomatic infection? If so and the test came out negative, your friend would be a rare person with a natural immunity to even asymptomatic covid.

They make a lot of mistakes. Going to the hospital in a red area is risking your life.
