Yo! Lincoln Project! Conservatives go from "Support the troops!" to "Defund the military!" Well?

In the spirit of Biden's strategy to take it to the opposition, this is the thing to go at Republicans for, even before 2022.

It only took one presidential term for the cult to go from "Support the troops!" to "Defund the military!"

That right there is an alt-right leadership stance that progressives can attack.
So of course, so-called liberal WaPo is warning Republican leadership not to publicly use that slogan.

"...Gaetz was first and foremost among House Republicans in pressuring military figures about supposedly “woke” policies, including critical race theory. Gaetz pressed Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on the topic, drawing combative responses from the retired general.

By Wednesday night, exchanges like Gaetz’s blossomed into a segment on Fox News in which host Laura Ingraham proposed withholding military funding until things like critical race theory are rooted out.

“Why is Congress not saying, ‘We’re not going to give you a penny until all of this is eradicated from the military budget?’ ” Ingraham said. “

‘Nothing. This is my offer to you: nothing.’ That’s what I would say. I’m totally outraged by [Austin] and his ridiculous response today.”

Even before the Chair of the Joint Chief's testimony, Republicans like Florida Reps Byron Donald and Matt Gaetz have called to defund the military. Not because the military gives its surplus to police departments. Hell no, they're fine with that. And hell yes, liberals have fought against militarizing police across the nation.

Republicans, like their Mar-a-Lago boss, call to defund the military because they want to erode public trust in the #1 most trusted entity across the nation. Yet another Putin goal.

Behind them all is Insurrection Leader Trump, who has wanted to defund the military until it endorses his politics and its adjacent ideologies. So, on cue, CRT now becomes trumpcult's "issue de jour." It was seven months ago that ILTrump refused to sign a military budget bill.

Seven months. That is how long Defund The Military as a Republican slogan has had the chance to gain traction in our so-called liberal media.

Media have been silent about that emerging attack. from Trump and his cult.
Suddenly, media love to push right wing hype about CRT being core liberal ideology.

This year, pressure media to wean itself from anti-liberal Republican hype.
Media need to get up to speed on Republican attacks on the #1 trusted US military.

WE are the conservers of democracy and the U.S. Military.

Think you could kick this one off, Lincoln Project?

They get wobbly legs and turn indignant when learned military elders school them.

Democrats are slow on the situational incident exploitation. Republicans have opened up their defenses now concerning supporting military and police. I would like to see senior Democratic leadership making forward facing statements of support of Secretary Austin and General Milley. Rank and file troops are very in-tuned to their leaders because their lives are directly affected by policy.

But we Democrats can do our part to speed up our exploitative side, right? And be on the right side, the military's, at the same time.

We ALL here need to repeat and express outrage about these Republican slogans on FB and other social media. Do that until news algorithms pick up on the outrage and give it more traction.

Repeat them on platforms to our 'liked' leaders and everyone else who's kinda stuck in the party's neurotic tendency to take on too much responsibility, or be too reactive to media doubts, all just because the other party is so behavior disordered (in the DSM), that it does NONE of that.
