The end goal of the GQP

Yeah I know it's like 1984, but I believe it is more like A Brave New World.

People who say that MF45 is stupid are wrong, he is mentally ill. There is a complex propaganda machine behind the GQP and it has been extremely successful. Minorities aren't real Americans. All Democrats are evil. What is the end game of all of that propaganda besides gaining complete autocratic control of America?

The end game is to eliminate thinking, just like in a Brave New World. Big Brother, Big Government, dare I print his name, Trump, will do our thinking for us. His thoughts are the truth and anyone who thinks otherwise will be exiled, or worse.

Think about this, while you still can. Time for my soma.

My sister fully accepted and incorporated her mental servitude. I fought back stridently and paid for my insurrection.

The only time Dad turned on my sister was when she wanted to convert to Catholicism and was asked for her reason. She answered truthfully, if not ignorantly. She liked how The Church had all the answers and made your decisions for you. What she didn't realize was that she was describing our father. Dad had a fit, not so much because of her intended conversion, but because he was being replaced. Worse than my autonomy.

BTW, my sister never converted, married a nice Jewish boy -- and even that didn't satisfy our father, although he never protested.

My point: I agree the GOP is lot like my father. It's easier to control people who don't disagree, who don't fight back, who won't let you have your way without argument 100% of the time.

5. There is much more to it that isn't said enough.

Trump, McConnell, McCarthy, DeSantis, are all just pawns. The real monsters are the dark money people behind politicians, some of whose names we don't even know thanks to Citizens United. I'm sure that Putin funnels money into politicians pockets. We know about the Kochs, Mercers, DeVos and others.

You know I chuckled a little bit yesterday reading the post about Killer Mike make the heretical statement that there are Democrats who may be taking some of that dark money. Oh dear, he would have been tossed off DU. Yet last week I also read a post claiming that Joe Manchin wasn't going to vote to end the filibuster because he was in the pockets of dark money.

What the end goal of these monsters is is to take away everyone's freedom without anyone realizing it. In a Brave New World everything is pre-planned, everyone has the job he or she was bred to do. The script is written for everyone and everyone has his/her part to play and ad libbing is forbidden. These GQP cultists will eventually lose all of their freedom and most likely do so cheerfully.
