Guardian Exclusive: Leaked Putin papers show plot to put a "mentally unstable" Trump in WH

The guardian is reporting that, according to Kremlin documents found to be genuine by Western intelligence agencies, in 2016 the Russians believed Trump was "mentally unstable," that they had kompromat on him, and that his election would lead to "social turmoil" in the U.S.

?resize=696%2C418&ssl=1
This extract from a secret Kremlin document gives details of the Russian operation to help an impulsive and ‘mentally unstable’ Donald Trump to become US president

Exclusive: Documents suggest Russia launched secret multi-agency effort to interfere in US democracy

Vladimir Putin personally authorised a secret spy agency operation to support a “mentally unstable” Donald Trump in the 2016 US presidential election during a closed session of Russia’s national security council, according to what are assessed to be leaked Kremlin documents.

The key meeting took place on 22 January 2016, the papers suggest, with the Russian president, his spy chiefs and senior ministers all present.

They agreed a Trump White House would help secure Moscow’s strategic objectives, among them “social turmoil” in the US and a weakening of the American president’s negotiating position.

Russia’s three spy agencies were ordered to find practical ways to support Trump, in a decree appearing to bear Putin’s signature.

Western intelligence agencies are understood to have been aware of the documents for some months and to have carefully examined them. The papers, seen by the Guardian, seem to represent a serious and highly unusual leak from within the Kremlin.

The Guardian has shown the documents to independent experts who say they appear to be genuine. Incidental details come across as accurate. The overall tone and thrust is said to be consistent with Kremlin security thinking.

1. Genuine, obtained by spying, provided to MI-6, leaked by MI-6. In this case, there is a mole hunt going on in the Kremlin.

2. Genuine, leaked by SVR to MI-6, leaked by MI-6. Fanning the flames again, so to speak.

3. Fake, created by SVR, leaked by SVR to MI-6, leaked by MI-6. After all, who would be most competent to create fake Kremlin documents.

4. Fake, created by MI-6, leaked by MI-6. Keeping the US-Russia cold war going enhances the UK's role as a critical ally.

2 and 3 seem the most probable, with 3 slightly more so, since the description of the alleged Kompromat in Appendix 5 was not also leaked.

and sees no chance Trump can regain the presidency in 2024, Putin has moved on to showing the world how easy it is to manipulate America's democratic system, and implicitly bragging abut his success in doing so. That's why this "leak" is appearing. It's meant for consumption outside of the U.S. Putin knows that die hard American Trumpers will write this off as "fake news" and be undeterred in continuing to wreak whatever havoc that are still capable of on American democracy.

the amount of money on co-signed loans with Deutsche Bank. After four years of appealing all the way to the Supreme Court to keep his financials hidden, that ploy ran it's course at the beginning of this year when New York finally got his financials. The beginning of the end on that issue is working it's way through our court system now. It took way too much time, but eventually his sea of bullshit does tend to slam into the wall of reality. Moscow would gain most from a Republican victory, the paper states. This could lead to a “social explosion” that would in turn weaken the US president, it says. There were international benefits from a Trump win, it stresses. Putin would be able in clandestine fashion to dominate any US-Russia bilateral talks, to deconstruct the White House’s negotiating position, and to pursue bold foreign policy initiatives on Russia’s behalf, it says.

I think Carlson is the only person who can successfully replace Limbaugh. He already has the name and face recognition, he's taken Hannity's spot as most watched Fox personality, and he's the biggest reich-wing, white grievance orator on the political right today.

And I should have put the emoji after the part about "EIB" being able to offer Carlson more than Fox. "EIB" was a construct from Limbaugh's oxycontin addled mind.

Anyone who watched the Helsinki meeting could draw the conclusion that 'whipped-dog Donnie' was a Putin asset. Which made the comparison of the Biden/Putin meeting photos and vids all the more dramatic. Putin went from a cat-who-ate-the canary' posture to a slouching, sulking bad boy.

As for the kompromat? Again, this is something everyone suspected but were told not to imagine. What would be real news would be kompromat on Republican senators and reps, the men and woman who turned from democracy and embraced fascism/autocracy so readily.

I'm looking at you, Lindsay Graham. And all the rest of the drumbeating GOP Trumpers who will not even recognize January 6th for what it was:

A push to overturn the government.

Ask General Milley for his opinion. He and the Joint Chiefs knew exactly what was going on that day and the days leading up to the insurrection.

Did we miss a bullet? Yes, by a frigging hair.

That being said there are more bullets out there, all aimed directly at our Republic.

30. talk radio is an essential tool for russia
Thu Jul 15, 2021, 11:00 AM
Jul 2021

russia has been using talk radio here since at least 2008, basically pulling limbaugh away from the rove GOP establishment. then he was essential for putting trump in, with trump getting sam nunberg to listen to “1000s of hours of talk radio” in 2014. it is incredibly irresponsible for a democracy to continue to allow 1500 coordiinated radio stations blast 50 mil/.week with unchallenged lying — and ignoring it all.

truly stupid, the biggest political mistake in history. analyzing politics without talk radio is like studying fish without water.

russsia used limbaugh (with manafort) to force palin on mccain in 2008, then to create ‘climategate’ in 2009 from a russian hack and wikileaks to sabotage obama at copenhagen climate conference. it goes back before 2016 and is still going on, although it got harder for them after limbaugh died — they only had to feed one blowhard but through breitbart etc they could feed others - they all followed limbaugh's lead though. their social media trolling ops pigggybacked years of established talk radio lies

russia’s probably been using talk radio in brazil, india, mexico and probably numerous other countries, especially poorer ones with large rural populations.

great for making COVID worse, like in red states
