"Given that Mr. McCarthy has chosen to meet with a subject of a Congressional investigation prior to announcing his selections for the committee, he has forfeited his ability to make such selections. That Mr. McCarthy would find such meeting to be remotely appropriate forfeits his ability to participate in these hearings. We will move forward without Republicans as its become clear their only desire is to disrupt this investigation".
