(19,204 posts)And that's exactly how his cult reacts to anyone who exposes TFG for what he actually is.
They get death threats, not only to the person who exposes him, but to their family and friends as well.
Heaven forbid TFG actually gets into real trouble with the law. The entire judicial system will be fair game for his crackpot cultists.

(9,670 posts)The silence from the evangelicals was deafening.
Not that I ascribe that silliness, but their inconsistency is an indication of their gross hypocrisy.

(16,975 posts)I was thinking of my neighbors who recently moved away. She told me a story about how smart her dog was, that he bit dried corn off a cob, laid it in front of a bush and hid behind the bush in case any birds or squirrels were lured close by the food. I really like dogs, and I believed her story. I had no reason to doubt her. But one day, as I was thinking of the story again, and my neighbor, I thought how easily I accepted her story. Even though I really like dogs and read about how smart they are, I have to wonder, is a dog really smart enough to figure out how to use food to lure prey animals to it?
I can see that I wanted to believe her story, and because it was about something I like (dogs), told by someone I liked. I accepted it, even though it is hard to believe a dog could figure out a such a complex hunting strategy.
Maybe part of the problem that people accepted traitor's line of b.s is that they liked what they heard, liked traitor, and wanted to believe anything he said.

(5,734 posts)What TFG stands for is what they actually want, and they finally found someone to give it to them. Then they can justify it all a hundred ways.

(19,067 posts)I am not religious, but the bible says that the Anti Christ will so obviously be the Anti Christ to everyone but his followers.
Trump is clearly evil and not religious at all.
