Can We Enlist The Help Of World Leaders To Get The 'For The People' Voting Act Act Passed?....

Here's where I'm coming from.

Not only us in the U.S. has gone through this disaster that was called the Tr**p Administration. The leaders of the worlds countries also had to endure this criminal.

The Repugs in the Red States are doing everything in their power to suppress the votes and cheat so they can win back the House, Senate and White House.
We are hearing that Tr**p is the de facto head of the Repug Party and quite possibly their nominee for president in 2024.

Even with all the recent revelations that are coming out about Tr**p in these newly published books - the Repugs are still circling the wagons around Tr**p.

Now we don't want to go back to another Tr**p Administration and I'm sure that world leaders don't want to have to deal with him again either.

We're getting back to normalizing relationships with these countries and the last thing anyone wants is to undo all the good that the Biden Administration is doing to make the U.S. credible again.

Still a most critical element in recovering from Tr**p is to remove the filibuster and pass all those laws that are needed to assure that we won't creep back into another Tr**p Administration.

Also - now might be the last Dem Administration we'll have if we can't get those laws passed without the threat of a filibuster.

I'm thinking that the world leaders can help put some pressure on the Manchin's and Sinema's of the world and appeal to their patriotism and perhaps get them on board with the Dem Party to do away with the filibuster.

Things are getting tense for 2022 and 2024 and if we don't do something soon - we'll miss our chance and perhaps never recover.

I'm just thinking that world leaders can make some appeals to help us through this situation. It's in their best interests as well.

1. I think they would deeply resent pressure from foreign officials,

which would make it worse than merely not helpful. Not a good idea.

4. Look - I See This Situation We Have As Desperate....

If we don't do something to stop these Repugs from their voter suppression ploys and changing the rules of the game (cheating) so they can't lose in 2022 and 2024 - then why don't we just let them re-instate Tr**p on Aug 13th and take our ball and go home.

My idea might not be the best - but it is an idea. I really don't think that world leaders/our allies want to ping pong back and forth every 4 years or so between insane and sane leadership from the U.S.. So I believe that they have a stake in the game and would come to bat for us - for their own good too. Oh - but then again - if we don't do something - they won't be ping ponging back to any saneness - they would have to deal with the insane leadership that lied and cheated their way into power.

I think with Tr**p and the Repugs back in charge - there is a national and maybe even a world security issue we'd have to deal with. That's why I suggested that world leaders might want to help us. I think they can elevate the seriousness of the problem and appeal to the patriotism of those Dems that are unwilling to take advantage of the unique situation we're in today with our 50% + the VP majority.

At least I'm making a suggestion and not throwing in the towel.

I don't want the Repugs to laugh at us again for having an edge and not taking advantage of it. Remember when they refer to the fact that we had control and didn't take advantage of it - even if it was for a relatively short period of time. They won't let us forget that and they keep rubbing it in.

So if you're content with letting the Repugs take over the House and maybe even the Senate in 2022 and getting Tr**p back into the White House again - then I guess we don't take a chance that maybe someone would deeply resent pressure or help from foreign officials.

I really don't know how seeking some outside help to provide a little nudge to some that have their heads in the sand would make things worse than they actually are. I didn't know that our elected officials were so sensitive that they might take offense for the nudge. I would think maybe they would look at themselves as being so important that a world leader actually wants to talk to me - if I were them.

So - as you stated - my idea is not a good idea.

What helpful ideas do you have that might not make the things worse? I'm all ears.

3. I resent Russia supporting Trump.

Who hasn’t he already trashed, anyway? What minds would be changed? The NATO countries have to figure out how they would deal with a loss by Biden. The whole Western Hemisphere would fall apart. Climate change would be ignored.
