have totally obscured the stars, "sunlight" such as it is is this weird tan/orange/dirty pink color. Moon looks gunky. It's depressing.

we've had some slightly smoky skies that had to travel a long way to get here. Not comparable at all to what you must be seeing. It's fascinatingly frightening

Oregon has a surreal tint to it’s late afternoon sunshine the past couple days. Can’t see it but there’s definitely smoke in the atmosphere.

We experienced what you describe with the catastrophic Hollywood and Archie Fires in the west side Cascades last September. The whole southern coast was smoked in for almost two weeks — the first time we’d seen that in the 32 years we had lived here.

Haven't seen report today. All 3 towns will burn if the wind picks up.

Welcome to reality.

If you think smoke is bad wait till you discover fire....

Nice sunset Kristin.

I understand that so much of our country is going through with our climate change. All of it is horrible.

I appreciate this picture of a picture that was taken. We have so much messiness and danger and bad shit -- I think this picture is just wonderful.

I love that our elected Raps take the time to document beauty.
