CNN is OK at times, but usually they're just a far more refined and professional Fox.

12. This started on Monday with Jake Tapper on Monday after Biden gave his speech about the

Afghanistan situation

Tapper started his segment with Joni Ernst mutual admiration society, criticizing Obama and

Biden’s immigration policy, and how the state department wasn’t doing anything

Then Biden’s presentation begin

After the presentation Tapper started by saying Biden was “forced to talk about the unfolding crisis in Afghanistan”

Forced by who jake, you?

Then he starts by saying Biden withdrew troops from Afghanistan, but had to take that back and send more troops back in, saying the speech was full of finger pointing and blame game, brushing aside in an inconsequential manner that the Afghan government didn’t want the US to evacuate people, because they thought it would cause panic, and emphasizing in jake tappers feeble mind that Biden wasn’t accepting any blame, which is nonsense. Biden took full responsibility

I had to switch channels at that point

I had no issue with the criticism, but the way trapper went off misrepresenting what Biden had said, and personally going off on Biden beyond just criticism, reminded me of what they did to Hillary in 2016.

I strongly suspect they have been given orders from the network heads to go overboard against the Biden administration on this, even to extremes by misrepresenting things, somehow believing this would demonstrate that they treat “both” sides equally

Tapper repeatedly spread a conspiracy about Obama using the IRS to target conservatives several years ago. To date he has not apologized or issued a correction. I knew then the man was neither a journalist nor straight anchor.
