Pres. Biden has the patience of a Saint.

I swear, if it were me, I would be so pissed off at the press right now…especially the television media.

But Biden seems to bring the “No Drama Obama” approach to governing to a higher level. He continues to calmly explain why he has done the right thing. And then he smiles.

It’s not lost on me how few Democrats are voicing their support in his decision on how he got handed a no win situation on leaving and the difficulty with doing it.
Yes he had a lot of patience. No wonder his poll numbers even on COVID has taken a hit.

Americans are still getting sick and dying from COVID and that should be the focus. Children lives are very important, and the nation should be made aware of the dangers for them.

Right now there are several enemies in the USA, one being COVID.

President Biden knows this. Corporate Media and the republicans don't care, hell, they don't even care about Afghanistan, but they do care about money and power.

Media set the Narrative & runs a 24/7 loop in supporting that narrative only.

What this does, is creates a slanted news story that people only hear, while preventing any opposing voice the opportunity to defend the truth.

It is Propaganda media seen in any other Authoritarian Govt in the world.
Russia, N Korea, Etc.

They ran the same game plan of media manipulation, propaganda & silencing in 2015/16 with Candidate Hillary Clinton.

We have no free press.

invest in media as heavily as Republicans. There certainly are enough Dems who could financially afford to.

Is it because advertising to support our own media would be hard to come by in such a corporate society? With elections as expensive as they are, are there too many Dems dependent on corporate donors to rock the corporate media boat with our own competitive media?

Indy media don't seem able to succeed.

So what can we do about media bias on corporate issues? And make no mistake about this. The media pile on with Biden regarding Afghanistan is driven by corporate interests that were invested in the Afghan occupation.

that I can't enjoy a joke about a political figure that I'm loyal to. There used to be some good jokes about Obama.

But this was so over the top and gave such a shallow, inaccurate picture of what is happening that it turned me off completely. He was promoting the MIC perspective on Afghanistan, apparently to please his corporate bosses.

all the willpower he can muster. He can have a relatively short fuse at times, but I think he knows how important it is for him to remain centered and calm. Meanwhile, he has had more than his share of run-ins with the press over the years, so he has a lot of experience. Still, I'll bet he bites his tongue an awful lot.

Asked him about the polls being down.
As Nicole said,” 95% of the people back Biden,95% of the media will attack him”

I did not watch the usual Sunday shows . Saw Mike Todd was going to have Liz Cheney on. Fine spokesman for war. Not!

He has his priorities straight and has 40 years experience in this.

Add that to being a kind and loving sort to start with. We are so fortunate he was willing to come out of retirement to do this.

I thought this comment on Twitter summed things up pretty accurately:

“OMG people who have never been in a war zone want Amazon second day delivery out of Kabul”

So true! Biden is working the problem and ignoring the heat. How he does it I don’t know. He has been a better President than I ever imagined.

He's calm, he's cool and confident on his decision and how the evacuation is being run. The press is salivating for a freakout or temper tantrum.

Biden's not having any of it. Good one on him. It's a clear sign of confident, competent leadership.
