(82,849 posts)It's not rocket surgery. Ryan just runs down the list of things this bill is meant to accomplish, from universal pre-school to expanded health care options for citizens on Medicare. Who's against those things? Who opposes these budget items while shoveling more Treasury money into the overstuffed pockets of the wealthy? Let them justify it if they can. Meanwhile, Democrats really need to stand up for and own their own legislation. Ryan says he's not going to apologize for spending meant to help broad swaths of the American people, and he shouldn't. These ideas are very popular with citizens across the political spectrum. Do it, Democrats.

There's absolutely no reason another republican should be elected for the next twenty years.
They do nothing, even worse, they obstruct Democrats from doing what the American people want, and would like to do away with democracy altogether!
