It's a self-fulfilling mantra by the media. I never heard this about Vietnam...and they never blew up anything or anyone in the US. Isn't 20 years enough for 9/11 or was it really about more than 9/11?

(4,552 posts)They know what they are doing. We have talked about it for years. Its ratings, its money, its about keeping the electorate on edge and fighting mad. Its about their ability to push and pull and influence who is in political power, and moving the needle back and forth.
They are not reporting any more.
They are not being journalists.
They are not being responsible to anyone save their network bosses.
They can break the future of our Democracy, then report on it and wonder why we, the electorate, didnt work harder to avoid it happening.
I love Rachel Maddow. I was thrilled that she decided to stay with MSNBC.
As of yesterday, due to their continued propaganda rich reporting, I have now crossed MSNBC off my cable viewing and internet surf list. They earned that action along with CNN back a couple weeks ago.

I know she wont read it. I know it wont make it past the electronic mailroom. But I do feel better now that I got it off my chest.
I wrote an intro, and then included the comment that I wrote here a few minutes ago.
Time to Boycott for a bit. I will come back, but I need to speak with my virtual feet at least for awhile. Love Rachel. I am so POd right now.
