Mike Lindell, pro-Trump conspiracy theorists fail to draw crowd at Kentucky rally

More than 10,000 people were expected. Fewer than 300 showed up

Some of the biggest names pushing pro-Trump conspiracy theories were unable to draw much of a crowd at a "We the People Reunion" rally in Kentucky.

"The event is hosting speakers such as the CEO of MyPillow, Mike Lindell, former national security advisor Michael Flynn and Pastor Greg Locke, who has in the past admitted to being at the Capitol during the January 6 Capitol riot," WFIE 14 News reported.

The station reported on attendance at the event.

"Promoters said they expected crowds of around 10,000 people. Fewer than 300 were at the event when 14 News arrived," the network reported.

Either the novelty of the "big lie" is wearing off, or the big liars are faced with unanticipated (to them) circumstances that involve respirators and life support equipment.

Of course, both are possible, and even likely.

is still quite popular.

I think them all dying of Covid seems more likely. There is a Reddit sub of Anti-vaxx Trump worshippers who post nonstop memes of how much they hate Dems, vaccines, masks, etc. Then they post they're Covid positive and how horrible they feel. Then they post updates of being in ICU and on ventilators. Most of them end up dead a week or 2 after infection.

I was shocked to read this from the News 14 (Evansville) article:

14 News was allowed in the parking lot to shoot some video, but was later asked to leave the fairgrounds. Any attempts made to speak with local leaders and event organizers have been denied.

14 News did speak with a group of women who fear that such a large event is dangerous during a pandemic.

“People are getting sick and they’re dying,” Powderly resident Rhonda Wood said. “Friends of ours, people we know, and we haven’t been able to stop it. We’ve tried, we’ve pleaded, we’ve sent requests - done whatever we could.”

Let's hope that's a good indicator of a little change of heart which should save lives. We're in desperate need of that state-wide!

I think President Biden’s recent “talking to” took a lot of wind out of their flimsy sails.
