Think I pinpointed the exact location of Gabby Petito's van on Google Maps.

You can't click on the link just below. You have to copy and paste the entire thing.

https://www.google.com/maps/search/spread+creek+campground+wyoming/@43.7756825,-110.4994048,289m/data=!3m1!1e3!5m1!1e4

Watching this video and looking at Google Maps I kind of followed the road to where the van was parked, right next to the river. They start out in the video with the woods on the right, there is a slightly open spot where a big RV is as the road is curving to the left. It curves a tiny bit to the right into a more open wooded area and you see a small road on the left that circles back where people are camped. The road then stays mostly straight (very slight turn to the left) and moves right next to the river where you see their van. In the link above you see the circular road where the cars were parked / camped and to the right you see where the road runs right next to Spread Creek and where their van was. Perhaps 15 feet from the river.

ETA: nevermind, now I'm up to speed

So that was the 27th around 6pm and nobody around the van. Her last contact had been 2-3 days prior.

Did they take a long hike, got in a fight, so he walked off and left her there alone? Just bizarre that he's not talking. He clearly feels guilty for something, even if he didn't directly do it.

to have run across. It was good of them to put it out there beause I am sure law enforcement will find this of interest when they build their timeline.

If they were out in dispersed camping, it's pretty private. I wonder about what the authorities found, if she was intact or if scavengers had found her, it's been days, could have attracted bears which would present another issue with wildlife managers.

I watched the video of the FBI statement, the agent speaking was clearly disturbed when he spoke about the remains. So I wonder. I live in the same ecosystem and bears and dead things that are made out of meat come together regularly, species is not a major concern for the bears.

Sad thing to happen to anyone. Hope they guy will tell what happened.
