So, we don't have budget/infrastructure bill yet.

Why? I don’t get what the Dems are doing? I get going big and get it all at once. But, here is the problem? It gives the GOPers what they want! They can set back and watch the Dems fail to get things done and then use it as points for given them back the power they so desperately want. If the Dems can’t change? Think of what could be done by the GOPers? Trump comes to mind for me! So, let’s not let this happen and start getting bills passed! Even if the Senate has to burn down the filibuster. Time is wasting and the country is at stake in so many ways!

fact that is the argument those who want to keep the filibuster. republicans mostly vote in unison, and that is not necessarily the case with Democrats since we have a very large tent

And couldn’t get an infrastructure bill. They really couldn’t get anything but that tax cut bill.

The infrastructure bill, funding, and debt ceiling are all things that even our right-wing Dems can't afford to vote against. Bundling gives us a way to force them to do the right thing on the social services bill.
