Thousands attend Iowa rally for former President Donald Trump

DES MOINES, Iowa —
Former President Donald Trump held his first rally in Iowa since he left office.

Thousands of people streamed into the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Saturday to hear former President Donald Trump speak.

Saturday was Trump's first time back in Iowa since before the 2020 presidential election.

Several top Republicans spoke before the crowd throughout the day, including Congresswomen Marianette Miller-Meeks and Ashley Hinson, Senator Charles Grassley and Gov. Kim Reynolds.

People came from across the country for the Save America Rally. In the hours leading up to the speakers, people in the crowd were able to watch the Iowa vs. Penn State game on large screens placed throughout the area by former President Trump's team.

The crowd is not that deep when when the camera pans the edges. The stage behind him is quite narrow and placed there for effect.

Yeah, as if that was the reason those huge jumbotrons were there. Anyone see '1984'? Also, one has to wonder how many people left after the game, since they announced that they were going to show it. Number inflation, any one? Everything about that orange gibbon is a lie. Even his lies.

That's probably a small percentage of the baseline number of loons in that area of the country. It's a blip.

Was it 50? Now I'm starting to worry.

Only Heavy.com seems to show crowd photos, and though the crowd is large-ish, it seems like the numbers are dwindling.

As for "thousands," if it was multiple thousands, it likely wasn't more than the usual 2 or 3 thousand cult followers, who are there hoping to hear something other than his usual litany of grievances and lies. No doubt it was his same, old shit spewing from his cat anus lips, in between all of his sniffing, and huffing, and puffing. It was the biggest and the best lying in history. Big, beautiful bullshit and limited vocabulary, like you've never seen before.
