Jon Gruden's contract with the Raiders was paying him $100 Million over 10 Seasons, the current one was the 4th Year.

According to TMZ: Even Barack Obama and Joe Biden were reportedly mentioned in Gruden's emails ... with Gruden ripping Obama during his 2012 re-election campaign and referring to Biden as a "nervous clueless p****."

The new report also says Gruden mocked Caitlyn Jenner in his emails, after she received an award from ESPN in 2015 following her transition.

Gruden said at his Monday news conference the situation has been a learning experience.

“I’ve learned a lot and again I’m not going to rehash the event again,” he said. “I think I feel very good about the things I have learned. I also feel really good about what I stand for, as I said yesterday, and I’ll be happy to talk about football, but I’ll just leave it at that.”

You see, it's a "learning experience" about how not to say things that make you sound like a Racist, Homophobic POS.

Not even two years after his team moved to my town with much fanfare, with an HQ mere minutes from my house and a shiny new stadium across the highway from the world-famous Strip, the head coach resigns in disgrace after having been outed as a world-class bigot.

19. As much as Gruden is a piece of crap, something else is also going on here...

These emails are a tiny part of the 650K emails from the Washington football team that were reviewed by the NFL, and a law firm hired by the Washington franchise, as part of the investigation into sexual harassment/workplace misconduct of Dan Snyder (Washington's owner) et al. That investigation specifically and purposely didn't create a written report to avoid it being leaked or subpeonaed. And magically the first few emails from that trove leaked reflect poorly on a guy Snyder already fired to save his own ass (Bruce Allen, another piece of crap person) -- even though that guy was a longtime toadie and yes-man -- and the brother of a coach he fired under acrimonious circumstances. These leaks are peculiarly self-serving for Dan Snyder and his ego...

And somehow only that first email was leaked just in time for the players' union vote (an email which contained offensive racist language about the players union head who was up for re-election, but who the owners view as weak, i.e. good for them, just in time to make him a sympathetic figure and/or circle the wagons), and then this other batch was leaked to force Gruden and/or the Raiders to get rid of him(self) to clean up the mess created by the first email leak, which had successfully served its purpose.

Fuck Gruden, but fuck Goodell -- and his minions -- and Snyder -- and his minions -- and Marc Davis for hiring Gruden, and every other manipulative asshole in the NFL league office too.
