Based on pundit talk, the real fear is state Republican legislatures giving themselves the power to overrule election results and appoint a slate of electors who would cast their votes for the Republican candidate...
According to the link, that scenario is highly unlikely. So, what say you?

(2,265 posts)They ARE dead set on taking over the country by whatever hook or crook and I must admit their creativity in finding new and unique methods of hook and crook, is impressive...evil but still impressive.

(23,182 posts)Doesn't matter the scenario, it will be lies anyway, and none of the laws require proof of fraud - just suspected fraud and of course every Dem win in those R states will be thrown out if it matters. That is what they plan to do or they wouldn't have put in those freedom destroying clauses.
They are changing the law so they can overturn the popular vote by claiming Freud

(2,265 posts)I first have to find and read the new 'laws' but if Rs change the laws to 'correct' all the stuff they said was irregular and subject to fraud, then there wouldn't be any irregularities or fraud to consider...right?
So you're saying, even if they set the rules and still lose the election, they'll call foul? Or is the grand plan to win back the House, then contest the Congressional certification resulting in a stalemate and the House declaring the winner?
