conservative patrons has continued to corrupt government and public perception. The Dark Money we hear about, which the MSM never actually documents, was the real danger and still is. Joe Manchin is a current tool of theirs as are the 6 conservative members of the US Supreme Court. As we are discovering there is a vast RW network afoot with nearly infinite cash to use steering the GOP further into the Dark Side towards single party rule and the end of democracy.

I remember asking why the Watergate Committee didn't follow the money then. Like the Warren Commission before it the Watergate investigation was carefully steered away from asking deeper questions: questions like who paid to enable the election dirty tricks and who had a larger interest in the outcome.
