How strongly will Donald Trump defend Steve Bannon?

Bannon knows that he could be dumped in a moment's notice. How far will Trump go to appease him?

If he doesn't appease him, Bannon may have information that is much more serious than contempt of Congress?

Oh, what a tangled web they weave...

The question that arises, can he be charged for other crimes once the evidence comes out to the Grand Jury?

He may look for some sort of plea deal, before it goes on for too long?

Depending on how much information Bannon has on Trump will dictate how strongly Trump defends Bannon. We could probably expect some comment tomorrow.

He doesn't have the pardon leverage any more, and TGS won't be grateful for whatever Bannon has done for him in the past because he never feels gratitude toward anyone. I don't see why Bannon would be motivated to help Trump any more anyhow.

They could draw this out until January 20th 2025 without even trying.

And if Bannon believes Trump will keep that promise, he's an idiot. They're both garbage and they both know it.

And Bannon has outlived his usefulness.

There really isn't much of a dilemma. He's not to scared of Bannon because if Bannon flips on him he will just impugn Bannon's character and motives -- of which there is ample evidence, much of it from his association with TFG.

about trump and Jan 6th, he’ll spill it.

While trump is an immoral POS, and deserves everything he gets, I’m not sure Bannon knows much about trump and the 6th.

He knows he has time…after all, it has taken this long to hold him in contempt… if he dicks around long enough, he can cause all kinds of heartburn for those that still care about norms.

Bannon is an agent of chaos. Expect it.

A malignant narcissist such as trump never really has dear/true friends. Yes, they may actually love someone for a point in time, but they can rationalize their detachment from them. Even in cases of close family such as parents or children, if the event leads to cognitive dissonance, the narc will self preserve.

trump's only priority is trump. There's no one on the face of the earth that he will not potentially throw under the bus. People need to understand that narcissists are "wired" differently. It's a mental illness. One cannot expect them to behave like rational people would. Without question, he is the most "pronounced" narcissist in American history because of his celebrity. What troubles me most is that even if there are people who may like some of his political ideas, they cannot see his handicap. To them, he would be classified as a covert narcissist. To astute people, we see him overtly. That is where the main trouble lies in crossing bridges.
