Keep this in mind, tonight it is Romney who has to change his style, not our President

The first debate was generally assessed as a loss for the President. President Obama showed little enthusiasm for it and Governor Romney prevailed. The second debate was much different. The President recognized his failings from the first debate and changed his approach. The President won the second debate.

President Obama showed us the ability to take quick and effective action to change the dynamic of the debates, Governor Romney has shown us no such ability to self-correct. It may very well be the set of the conservative mind to hold fast to the known approach even in the face of evidence that it is a failed tactic, it may be that Romney is unable to change his approach to the debates.

And that is what tonight's debate will bring us; one debater able to adjust his approach and delivery to meet his opponent and the other locked into both a web of lies, a propensity to change positions, and a sea of non-specific claims. The President will refine his attack and Romney will plow in with more of the same. If you thought our President did well last week just wait until tonight.

Yep, generally I agree with what you said. One minor point, I hold that Obama won the first debate. Romney acted like a school bully who was lost in an intellectual discussion. You'll notice that Obama did NOT change his style from one debate to the next, although he perked up nicely. I expect exactly the same performance in the third debate. I have NO suggestions for Romney nor would I give them if I did.
