(10,736 posts)Which did you get? Seems like Moderna hits most people the day after the shot. I planned on not going anywhere for a couple days.

Zero reaction so far. Feel great and arm is fine too.
I hope those are good signs.

(17,852 posts)Also we got our flu shot as well a couple weeks ago. We should be fine for this winter.
Sympthsical
(9,864 posts)Slightly feverish before bed. This morning it's a sore arm and maybe slightly stiff/achey all over. Vax or just slept weird? (or, gasp, getting older).
I made an appointment Sunday on the CVS website. There were a lot of open appointments available online. A lot of them even for same day. No age or health restrictions. If it's been six months, just pop in and go get one. No lines or anything - I was the only one there. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
I did, however, get the last of their flu vaccines. Apparently they were expecting a supply shipment that didn't come, so anyone after me didn't get one.

Good luck getting your booster.

(3,722 posts)Hubby and I were boostered with Moderna on Friday last week. It has knocked us both on our butt. First time for us with this reaction. First two shots were "meh"... This one left us with arms so sore we couldn't even lift 'em. Even the cat making biscuits hurt! Which of course, hurt HIS feelings! (LOL) Arms are better now, but it's flipped me into a fibro flare, so I'm still dealing now with other issues, non-related. Didn't have this with the other two shots. I'm glad I told hubby we'd wait for another 2 weeks or so for the flu and pneumonia shots! I'm assuming this all means our bodies are reacting appropriately antibody-wise. At least I hope there's a reason for us being knocked on our asses, beyond being nearly 70 years old! (LOL)

(14,976 posts)... from the 2nd dose, and those side-effects were more intense than the 1st dose (like for most people who never caught Covid).
The range of motion for that arm is limited for me too.
As I wrote earlier in this thread, I had almost no soreness initially after the shot.
