He has a fifty state strategy and works closely with Stacey Abrams and others.

He’s not given credit earned! Most ppl here do not know what he is doing when asked. If they did they wouldn’t be so critical.

With Rahm Emmanuel as Obama‘s chief of staff, he would never gotten near Obama anyway, but Howard said that when we don‘t have the White House, the DNC chair is the head of the party. When we do have the White House, the president is the party head, and the DNC chair is much more of a background position. Much of that is fundraising, and Harrison seems to be doing a decent job if that.

When Howard took over as DNC chair, the Republicans had the White House and both houses of Congress. When he left four years later, we had the White House and both houses of Congress. I don‘t know of anyone who came close to achieving what he did.
