Madam @VP surprised White House staff taking a photo for Diwali. I can't tell you how much it means to work for an administration that celebrates diversity.
Happy Diwali to all those who celebrate!

Or Divali.
It's wonderful to see The President, and First Lady
have an official WH acknowledgement complete with a festive display! 💖
And then, of course, VP Kamala Harris!
I went to the big NYC celebration in ?2018 in the Times SQ area!
A stage and screen with singers, dancers. Another screen with people form India watching.
Vendors with goods, including Diwali related stuff. I bought a tied dyed scarf.
And food vendors! Yum! I love Indian cuisine (Northern & Southern, meat, vegetarian, and vegan)!
Hopefully next year I can go buy Diwali clay lamps.
