About Joe Biden and Merrick Garland
I'm just an old woman esteemed by no one other than my children (most of the time). This is my take on these two men, who have met their moment in history, and of which much is expected by Americans and the world. Yes, the DOJ,operates independently of the White House, but let's be realistic., these two men have talked, at least to some extent. No, they likely don't discuss cases, at least not much, but I'm certain they did talk cases during their meetings before the nomination. I would go so far as to say they had a meeting of the minds about how the corruption of the last administration and especially the Jan. 6th insurrection was to be handled. These are two men, each in their own way, who are patriots, whose entire lives have been in the service of their country and ours. Like Churchill and Roosevelt, they will not let this abomination stand. I trust them to do the right thing for the country.
