A friend of mine thinks he has COVID.

I was talking with a friend yesterday and he hasn’t been feeling well. He complained of chills, sore throat and temp of 99, which has been higher at times the past few days. I asked if he got the vaccine shots before he started feeling this way? He replied no, because he did trust the vaccines. I said to him that I did and luckily I won’t get COVID. He got pissed at me, because he thought I was bad mouthing him. He hung up on me, WTF? I called him back today to see how he was feeling and his wife that she was taking him to see the doctor tomorrow. She apologized to me for him hanging up on me. I said not to worry about it. She went on to say that she got her vaccine shots and been riding him to get them too, but he refuses to. He is a Trump GOPer and she is a Democrat. She lets him know that too, especially now since he isn’t feeling well !

Luckily though, you'll get a milder version like I did.

Delta is still the most common variant in the US, by far.

If he waits until he lands in the hospital needing oxygen, it will be too late for that.
