Say it ain't so Joe.

Unfortunately, as a resident of West Virginia, I have to support and vote for Joe Machin. He IS A DEMOCRAT. We now have a governor, elected as a democrat, that changed parties soon after the election. I do not want to see Joe Manchin become a Republican. I have been a DU lurker since year one. I finally decide to sign up a couple of years ago. After my first post, I got thrown out. After multiple attemps to find out why I got kicked out I finally read the rules. I got thrown out because I had bashed a democrat on my first post! Yep, Joe Manchin. I am not writing this to show my support for Joe Machin. I have to agree with almost all of the negative posts about Joe. But, as long as he is running for Senate as a democrat, I will vote for him.

and new election ASAP.

But since it doesn't, Liz Cheney should become a Dem & vote with the Dems to pass Biden's
agenda, starting with voting rights.

So should any R who's not a RWNJ. But they won't. So, not serious enough about saving our democracy.

We need your voice WVreaper, there are some people on here that are bright blue, while others are pale blue or purple...don't let anyone run you off, we want to hear what you have to say.

Not only did WV vote Democrat, but they also split from Virginia and joined the Union Forces during the Civil War, and, more importantly, the Appalachian people (WV) were instrumental and credited with winning the Revolutionary War.

I thank the West Virginians and America owes WV their gratitude.

And lately, there have been news articles about how Senator Addison "Moscow Mitch" McConnell (R-Yertle The Turtle) has been publicly pushing Manchin to switch parties.

If Manchin throws a hissy and switches, we lose the ability to get judges on the bench and god forbid, if anything happened to Justice Breyer, we'd never get a replacement for him on the SCOTUS.

OT: Breyer needs to hand in his resignation, yesterday. His holding out on this is getting ridiculous...and dangerous.

If it's a question of "Democrat or Republican?" Then I know what my response has to be. No choice. DEMOCRAT. NO Independent, NO Peace & Freedom, NO Progressive party, NOPE. The DEMOCRAT. Can't vote otherwise.

The LAST thing I ever want to do is provide even a tiny bit of an edge for the bad guys (ie: Republicans). And as long as they're against a woman's right to choose, I don't care WHAT else they stand for that I might agree with. THAT right there, all by itself, is a deal breaker.

Are there many Dems trying to recreate what he ended? I've believed for years that the coal industry ought to be bought out by the mega wealthy who are concerned about the future. Then put green energy plants in their place.

I believe BBB does this. And Manchin should be ashamed of himself for blocking it.

I also wish the people putting so much effort in bashing Manchin would divert their energy into helping democrats win in other states. We are very fortunate to have a democratic senator in West Virginia considering there is no other alternative at the moment in the state.
