Again, Peter Navarro is talking openly about his plan to deprive Biden of the presidency by throwing the election to a GOP vote in the House of Reps that the GOP would win because only state delegations decide the winner in such a scenario.

When the 2020 election didnt go Trumps way, Peter Navarro did something dangerous. He began to do his own research.
Navarro, an economist whom Donald Trump tapped to lead his trade war against China, didnt stay in his lane at the White House. Hed already inserted himself in the administrations botched pandemic response, pushing the unproven hypothesis that Covid-19 escaped from a Wuhan lab. And after the 2020 vote, Navarro began compiling a series of inflammatory dossiers on the outcome with names like The Immaculate Deception, The Art of the Steal, and Yes, Trump Won pushing the Big Lie that the election was stolen.
Navarros reports include debunked allegations of outright voter fraud across six battleground states, including the large-scale manufacturing of fake ballots, bribery, and dead voters as well as roundly discredited conspiracy theories alleging sordid connections between voting machine companies, a former Venezuelan dictator, the Clinton Foundation, and George Soros.
Unlike most amateur-hour election sleuths, however, Navarro had direct access to the aggrieved president. In an extended interview with Rolling Stone, Navarro revealed that he personally briefed Trump on his research in the Oval Office and that Trump directed, on the spot, that Navarros findings be distributed to the entire GOP conference on Capitol Hill.
That advocacy by Trump helped Navarro, along with close ally Steve Bannon, prepare for a Jan. 6 plot they hoped could overturn Joe Bidens victory. Together with Bannon, Navarro developed a plan to block the Electoral College vote count, called the Green Bay Sweep after a daring football play run by the NFLs Packers in the Vince Lombardi era. (Bannon did not respond to a detailed list of questions about his involvement in this effort.)

(25,979 posts)He's admitting every awful thing, mostly - "I was the researcher! Bannon was the doer!" And still he's so full of himself. Any of those who weren't solidly behind tfg regarding the Big Lie were "bad people" who "had no business in the White House." It's clear projection on his part when he makes the ludicrous accusation that Democrats were attempting a coup d'etat by certifying the vote.
His reaction to the reporter's attempt to bring reality into the end of the interview was... surreal. This man crafts a narrative that simply does not exist. How could he be surprised there was violence after speeches like the ones given by tfg & co that day? How could he be surprised that violence was part of the plan when, well beforehand, tfg proclaimed in a tweet: "Be There. Will Be Wild!" This man is a mendacious nutbar.
Why in the world would he be talking to a Rolling Stone reporter like this? Twice? Oh. His book came out in November: In Trump Time: My Journal of Americas Plague Year. The number of gushing five star reviews at Amazon is chilling and nauseating. I can't wait for his turn when televised hearings start. I'm looking forward to hearing the names of the "over 100 congressmen ready to implement the plan." 😒
