About Those Anti-Vax Tweets

Tweet: Many are still unaware that many blonde women from Texas with names like Carol or Joanna fighting vaccines on Twitter are in reality some fellow called Boris, who, from a drab Soviet era building, runs dozens of such accounts using fake I.P. addresses in North Macedonia.

Tweet: Some report of troll farms by MIT Tech Review.
But there is tons of stuff coming. We'll have discussions on
@Snowden soon.

SM thrives on "traffic". If you removed all the bots there would be a lot less "traffic". SM compony annual reports, therefore, would report a lot less (actual) traffic and we all know what that would do to their advertising rates & stock prices.

Opposition to the COVID vaccine is strongly associated with party affiliation. Are the fake white Texan women on Twitter creating this opposition, or merely encouraging it? Seems like the latter.

... just to make themselves seem like real people. But they're not.

They should be kicked off Twitter and Instagram, and we know they'll never be banned from Facebook.

Our democracy is, and has been, under heavy information warfare attack for several years. Yesterday's release of Bernard Kerik's "Strategic Communications Plan" outlines how such attacks are planned by domestic actors.

This report lays out how they work.

Information warfare of this type is widely used by Russia, and adopted by right wingers in the lead up to the 2016 elections. Bannon, along with Cambridge Analytica, adapted and applied the strategies to kill democracy in the US.

We need to understand how to get out in front of these tactics on an ongoing basis. For my small part, I battle the bots on a stock traders forum by quickly unmasking them, and getting them booted.
