Maryland governor won't enact a statewide mask mandate because he "can't enforce them"

...but Hogan announced a 30-day 'state of emergency' today in response to an explosion of cases, deaths, and hospitalizations yesterday, and this week. A whopping 311 new hospitalizations Sunday to Monday for a virus people are going around claiming is now 'mild.' That's a several hundred percentage increase across the board in just a few weeks.

...this is just impunity from this republican governor for something his republican supporters and flacks have been advocating against.

Everyone wearing them half mast or wearing useless fashion accessory models.

Go shopping, same damn thing.

Even at the doctor's office the nurses and aides are wearing them half assed, half mast, half off.

...not all, but most, at least in my state.

And stores had the authority to order them off the premises or at least cite the law. Now there's nothing but this impunity which the governor is encouraging. Basically encouraging anarchy in fealty to his republican supporters who have resisted regulations like this one for whatever rules they decide they don't want to adhere to.

...but he's adopted the worst of rw politics as he looks toward a bid for the presidency.

Hogan's truly a Christie clone.
