Did anyone see Stephanie Grisham on CNN this morning?

She said a bunch of former Trumpians (15? don’t recall exact number) were going to get together next week and strategize on how to stop Trump in 2024. No matter what we may think of these people and their complicity in enabling Trump, or what we may think of their motives, they are maybe our best chance right now to begin to save this country.

I’d like to see a concerted effort by some of these former Fox stars to take on that pestilence directly. That is a herculean task in and of itself, and that also has to start now.

I hope the scales fall from more eyes going forward. Make no mistake, we are in a war for 2024. All hands on deck.

i'm struck by just how sprawling the whole thing was.

and nobody is even talking about how they stalled the transition. we wondered then what they were up to, and now we know.
esp at pentagon and doj, they were pushing every button to stay in power.

supported the big lie.

I think the Democrats should quote the words of "Karl Rove" from the WSJ loud and clear:

"If Democrats had done what some trump supporters did on that violent Jan. 6, republicans would have criticized them
mercilessly and been right to do so. republicans would have torched any high official who encouraged violence or stood
mute while it was waged and been right to do so. republicans would have demanded an investigation to find who was
responsible for the violence and been right to do so. There can be no soft-pedaling what happened and no absolution
for those who planned, encouraged and aided the attempt to overthrow our democracy"
