DeSantis: Jan. 6 is 'Christmas' for mainstream media

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) called the Jan. 6 Capitol attack "Christmas" for media organizations based in Washington D.C. and New York, adding that he would not be watching coverage of the day because he found it "nauseating."

When asked his thoughts about the one-year Jan. 6 anniversary Thursday, DeSantis instead criticized the media for their coverage of the attack. He added that "there is an obsession with this among the DC-New York journalist class" while referring to the Jan. 6 anniversary.

DeSantis said he believes the media can "spin" a "narrative that they want."

"They are going to take this and milk this for anything they could to try to be able to smear anyone, whoever supported Donald Trump," he added.

Actually Jan. 6 is when Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas. Since you have presidential ambitions you might want to be a bit more cautious with your comments DeSantis.

7. Personally for me January 6th were the birthdays of three people important in my life

My Grandmother, a neighbor who I adored who passed away suddenly and my long time boss. All three have passed on and I have good memories of them

But Now when I think of January 6th I don’t think of them first but that assolini tried to overthrow our government and seeing the horrors those terrorists inflicted on our Capitol that day for a false lying prophet.
