Keith Olbermann on being stifled from criticizing Fox News

Some confirmation on what we’d all suspected…

A reminder: when I first called out Fox "News" in 1998, the president of NBC forced me to apologize on @MSNBC. When I called it out nightly in 2003-11, the next president of NBC - Jeff Zucker - negotiated what I could/couldn't say on MSNBC about @FoxNews with Roger Ailes.

And they love to pretend FauxNews is real.
They would rather the country burn than challenge another "journalist".

Apparently, after making Billo the Clown "Worst Person In the World" too many times, O'Really started going after GE (then-controlling owner of NBC) for being a war profiteer.

Billo and Olbermann were both told to stop. Even though their attacks on each other helped their ratings. So, to appease Ownership, no more "worst person in the world" and no more talk on Fox about how NBC was owned by a war profiteer.

That's American media.

I watched and learned n remember clapping at the end of his program! Crazy but, yeah..I had never heard it told like he did. Rachel was a plus n he promoted her n I have watched her ever since...many years ago. One thing about KO.. imo.. he tells it like it is

He knows talent and from her Air America days he was a staunch proponent of hers.

And Rachel did the same for Chris Hayes. She knew how good he was from jump.

Lately she's been sounding and acting more.... Keith Olbermann-ish. Not in the exact same way of course but when she gets really really wound up ...

IMO not a bad thing. Sometimes one has to tell it like it is.

That is awful............where is the citizens of the USA's right to hear the real truth about what is going on? Keith, I value your opinion. Thanks for explaining all the BS that goes on behind the scenes. Sad but true........ I watched Keith Olberman a long time ago and felt really bad when we couldn't get him anymore!!
