She has MS and was extremely hesitant about vaccines. But after a simple chat back and forth after I got mine. She decided to get hers. Well good thing because her husband just tested positive and she is also positive. I'm sitting here thinking if I didn't have that talk. I don't even wanna imagine. I'm just glad after a normal conversation she listened to reason.

Thanks for that. I suspect a lot of us need it.

(17,157 posts)There are different types and categories of vaxx deniers. Ranging from the willfully malicious - those who would vaxx themselves but harange their followers to be antivaxx - right down to the low-information every-people who honestly don't understand the issues. In the middle is a vast ocean of souls whose informed opinion is directly related to most recent celebrity pronouncement.

week, and then another week, I'll just double mask and grocery shop only during early morning hours, blah blah. But eventually gets it done (and of course some just bullshit themselves forever with excuses and never get it done or get one jab, or two... even though they fully realize they should get fully vaxxed )

(30,739 posts)you did save her life. Most MS patients have transfusions on a regular basis. These suppress their immune system. It is a way to halt the progress of the disease.
Good for you! You are a good friend.
