Cyber Ninjas. Broke, No staff left, CEO resigned, & a $50K a day fine for contempt 😂

"Cyber Ninjas is broke, can’t pay their lawyers, has no staff left to comply with document requests, had had its CEO resign, and was just slapped with $50K PER DAY fines for contempt. "

Scam after scam after scam.

If I remember my agency law correctly, executive level staff can be held personally responsible for sanctions against the company for illegal acts.
I don’t think bankruptcy negates the collection of fines without discharge.
I hope I remember that right & it drives this idiot into Chapter 13.

if he (executive) goes into Chapter 13, they still discharge their debt. Not that I support debtors prisons. People with school loans aren't allowed to do that as far as I know.

This grifter started his fake, pissant company as a get rick quick thing.
If he is anything but rich, he lost.
And, I still don't think BKO forgives fines. So I believe he'd still be on the hook for that C13 or no C13.

Founder of company hired to conduct Maricopa County election audit promoted election fraud theories

The head of a Florida-based technology company who has used social media to promote a range of unfounded election fraud claims and was involved with a previous effort to overturn election results in Michigan has been hired by the Arizona Senate to oversee the recount of Maricopa County's 2.1 million general election ballots.

The company, called Cyber Ninjas, will lead a team that includes three other firms as part of the $150,000 contract the Senate has awarded to conduct an unprecedented audit of the county's election results.

But a deleted Twitter account that appears to belong to Cyber Ninjas founder Doug Logan suggests he has already made up his mind about the security of Arizona's elections. It includes a litany of unsubstantiated allegations about fraud in the last election.

"I’m tired of hearing people say there was no fraud. It happened, it’s real, and people better get wise fast," said one post he shared from another Twitter user around the end of 2020.

It's obviously a well-organized and highly trained group of professionals, right? After all, they're called ninjas, and you can't just do that out of the blue! Or can you . . .? This CNN article is from June 2021:

His cybersecurity firm is working on the Arizona 'audit'. But people who know him have questions

Never heard of Cyber Ninjas before the Arizona audit began two months ago? You are not alone.

Though the Florida-based cybersecurity firm has existed in some form since at least 2014, before last November's election, it hadn't done election auditing, nor been in the public eye.

But then, there hasn't been much of it to be in the public eye. Cyber Ninjas exists mostly in virtual reality, with its chief executive, Doug Logan, also serving as, well, pretty much everything.

On recent calls to the company's automated answer line, pressing "3" for sales led to the answering message for Logan. So did pressing "4" for human resources. And pressing "5" for purchasing. And "6" for the general mailbox. Go to the address for Cyber Ninjas' Legal Department, listed on its audit contract with the Arizona Senate, and you'll wind up at a rented mailbox in a UPS Store in Sarasota, Florida. The company's business address registered with Florida's Secretary of State, also in Sarasota, was sold last December, and now sits empty.

Republicans specialize in rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse in government spending. Some single mom with two kids gets an extra $7 on her SNAP card, and the Republicans are manning the barricades! What if she buys an extra box of cereal?! But they don't bat an eye when they squander hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on a total scam to find out that the Big Lie is . . . a big, big, fake, fake lie!

They Might Be Giants!

If they have no employees, does the sanction just end the company? Are the previous employees, or company officers liable for the fines?

Where does the ownership of the request documents fall?

There are no records to submit because they erased them, or burned them, or they never existed because the stooges never wrote them or recorded them. What ever they thought they were doing, whatever they actually did, it was never meant to be examined closely in court or anywhere else. That is why no one will ever see them, or Logan, or any of the millions raised to pay for it.

The people who began this, who hide in the shadows and manipulate events and perceptions towards creating an America that is in their warped image of a Christian Nationalist State are getting away with it again. No-one is accusing them of treason or fraud, or theft.

We need to arrest those oligarchs and disclose all the nasty things they have done to engineer a violently divided electorate. I can think of some other things we ought to do with them but this is not that kind of forum and I don't want it to become one.

Cyber Ninjas chief wants to start new firm with same workers (Associated Press)

PHOENIX (AP) — The Donald Trump supporter hired to run a review of the 2020 election in Arizona told the state Senate president he’s starting a new company with some of the same employees as Cyber Ninjas, the old firm he’s closing as it faces massive court fines for refusing to release public records.

Cyber Ninjas founder Doug Logan told Republican Senate President Karen Fann in text messages that he was unable to sell the firm because of “too much negativity around the name,” but he plans to sell off all its assets to pay debts and eventually file for bankruptcy. His lawyer says Logan can’t fulfil a court order to release public records because the company has no money, even though Trump allies raised millions of dollars for the unprecedented partisan election review.
