The curriculum is inside my head.

Please make a list of what I should NOT teach, I will print a big copy and post it in my classroom so the students can check I'm doing it right.
The list of course will need to be vetted by the school board and Principal.

I will get every student to write a multipage report on my performance avoiding taboo subjects at the end of each week, to take home, so you can see how I did.

is the list, right here on the blackboard. You keep tabs on whether I ever mention X, Y or Z. Because you aren't allowed to know about them. If I ever mention X, Y or Z, you tell your parents....

.... Today's lesson: how to get a library card and how to research online."

The banned subjects will replace porn in the frequency kids delve into them!

This should go viral.

The only way to get a complete view.

Ron DeSantis is so STUPID! Does he not know of Ken Burns, John Meecham. Michael Beschloss, and other historians who will present history snd current events correctly?

If DeSantis and his ilk want to ban teaching of anything, they will have a battle on their hands.

So aside from stirring up culture wars for short term gain, this is likely part of a longer strategy of trying to regain momentum with the one after.
Make it illegal to teach anything other than 'everything is awesome exactly as it is'. Maybe fewer people will want progressive change when they grow up?

That Republicans are so interested in attacking quality education for all. There's a good reason why only the best and brightest intellectual people lean left. It will always be a continuous fight to properly educate the children

More than half the parents in this country don't even have the time to look over their kid's homework. Do you really think they're gonna take the time to review the actual curriculum???

the only purpose is to let third party people use curriculum to attack CRT-like classes.

ANY parent can just ask their child what they're learning in school. Having curriculum published online only benefits the RW social crazies who most likely don't even have kids in that school...

It would be very likely to backfire on the right-wing idiots. Progressive folks could find plenty of reasons to use the law to sue for curriculum content that lied about history, too.

Stupid people write stupid laws. Smart people turn those laws around on the stupid people.
