The OD deaths haven't increased.......

With all the shit everyone is having to bear, some are trying "to get a little help from their friends" like the Beatles talked about in their song........

I don’t think you can get one unless it’s official.

I don’t think you can get a second booster if the CDC hasn’t approved it. Don’t think a pharmacy will give one to you. Doesn’t hurt to try though I suppose.

That means I'm making a tentative plan for a booster in april.

Based on previous experience and also news coming out of other countries, it seems that the antibody decline is about 6 months. Those other countries are planning on a second booster and a safe guess is that here in the "it is not a crisis, until it is a crisis" US there will be another booster which includes Omicron sometime this spring.

moderna was filing for permission to give boosters every six months. Filing is a very early step in the process, but hopefully not the last.

12. My relative who recently died from covid was vaxxed and boosted.

But yea, relative was immuno compromised. Which doesn't make it any easier. Immuno compromised people are still at great risk even if vaxxed and boosted. After being infected, relative went downhill fast. Ended up on ventilator and then dead.
